Ray F. Binder, 87, of Nampa, died on Friday, Jan. 24, 1992, at a Nampa care center. Ray F. Binder was born on Feb. 6, 1904, at Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1936 he moved to Nampa from Kansas City, Missouri. Ray began a career in plumbing at the age of 14. He worked in Kansas City, Missouri, Midway Island and the Cinnabar Mercury Mine in Central Idaho. He served as an Idaho State Plumbing Inspector for 15 years until he retired. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the Local Plumbers Union #296.

Ray is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Wareham Binder, Nampa; three daughters, Earlene Cornell of Nampa, Carolyn Stonacek of Visalia, CA, and Bonnie Cotner of Rock Springs, WY; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and a sister.
