The younger Mr. Forkner also was a land developer, but achieved more of a reputation as an inventor of food products and processes while serving as a consultant to Pillsbury Mills.
Survivors include his mother, Lewella Forkner of Fresno; a sister, Mary F. Reynolds of Fresno; and a stepdaughter, Debra Gleason of Idaho. Lisle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
