ANNA -- Joyce H. Glover, 71, of South Lyon, Mich., formerly of Anna, died Sept. 27, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 1, 1939, the daughter of Charles N. and Ethel (Parr) Glover in Blue Island.
She was a member of Riviera United Methodist Church in Redondo Beach, Calif., and also attended Anna United Methodist. She enjoyed a long career with Aerospace Corp. in El Segundo, Calif., and was avidly involved in genealogy research after her retirement.
She is survived by her niece, Julie Dean (Robbie) Wingett of Royal Oak, Mich.; one nephew, Edward B. (Kim) Smith of Whitmore Lake, Mich.; and great-nieces and nephews, Edward, Jessica, Jonathan and Hannah Smith.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in Anna City Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Minor officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Anna Methodist Church and will be accepted at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro.
