Gas City – Norma Jean Lowe, 70, died at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011, in her residence. She was born in Houlton, Maine on October 17, 1940 to William and Irene (Waitt) Ivey, and her father preceded her in death. Norma married Ronnie K. Lowe on April 15, 1989 and he survives. She worked at Glass Containers for 20 years. She retired from Mid-State Vending Company. She also cleaned for 15 years for Dr. Raj. Norma was a member of the Glass Bottle Blowers Association and loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Lowe, Gas City; children, Michael (Kristie McGuire) Cole, Marion, Pamela (Danny) Bennett, Gas City, Mark (Pamela) Cole, Marion, Kevin Cole, Marion, Shari (Vernon) Quinn, Gas City, Shawna (Patrick) Cain Marion; stepchildren, Rhonda S. (Scott) Cox, Marion and Christopher (Brandee) Lowe, Noblesville; 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; mother, Irene Ivey, Marion; brothers, Robert (Edith) Ivey, Marion, David (Elda) Ivey, Jonesboro, and Terry (Debbie) Ivey, Marion; and sister, Ethel (Charles) Connors, Port Charlotte, Florida.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, Indiana.

Funeral Services are at 1 pm on Friday, October 7, 2011 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, Indiana. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City, Indiana.
