Pvt Fred J. Boysman, 23, son of Mrs. Loretta Reilly Boysman died yesterday in Percy Jone Hospital, Battle Creek, Mich., following an operation for a brain tumor. He was about to go overseas when he was stricken last may.

He attended Seymour School and Vocational High School and was employed by the Otis Elevator Company before he joined the Army in August 1941.

He received his basic training at the Air Corps Airplane Mechanic Technical Training School, Long Island, City and was also stationed at Fort Niagara, Tonopah, Nev and McClellan Field, Calif.

Surviving besides his mother are two brothers, two sisters, and his grandparents, all of Syracuse. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
