Death: Ada Marie Whittington

Ada Marie Whittington, 59, died May 17, 1997 in St. George, Utah.

She was born August 16, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Sybilla Rue Dalton. Her hobbies included crafts, genealogy, and travel. She enjoyed the sight of the red rocks. Ada loved her family.She was survived by three sons and one daughter, Daniel William (Sue) Whittington of Draper; Sarita Marie Whittington, Ivins, Utah; Martin Lynn (June) Whittington, Salt Lake City; Jeremy James Whittington, Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; as well as two sisters, Madalin Zappelli, Santa Rosa, Calif.; and Sandy McKinnley of Manteca, Calif.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 21, 1997, at 11 a.m., at Ivins LDS 4th Ward, 240 East 1060 South, Ivins. Visitation will take place Tuesday, 7-8 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 St. George Blvd., and Wednesday 10-11 a.m. at the chapel prior to service. Interment will be at the Ivins City Cemetery under the direction by Metcalf Mortuary.
