Born in Wilkes County, Ga. on August 10, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Richard L. and Vacie Bradford Andrews.
Mrs. Myers was a homemaker and tour guide. She was a faithful and longtime member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church and a resident for many years of the Washington Avenue community.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Michael Myers of Greenville; two sisters, Alice Mullikin and Carrie Butler, both of Elberton, Ga.; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of sixty-three years, Maylon Myers; three sisters, Ruby A. Hall, Ailene A. Smith and Emma Lee A. Blackwell; and four brothers, George, Monroe, Jamey and Wilton Andrews.
The graveside service will be held in Graceland Cemetery, West on Monday, February 4, 2008, at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Chuck Bridges.
The family will receive friends at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
