Mary DeVore, 63, Harrisburg, passed away at 11:47 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Ind.

She was born May 15, 1948, in Harrisburg to Charles Agin Sr. and Hazel Feazel Agin. She married Arnold W. "Buck" DeVore, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 2008. Mary was a homemaker and managed the Dairy Queen in Mt. Vernon.

Mary is survived by her mother, Hazel of Harrisburg; her daughter, Georgia and Steve Hedge of Mt. Carmel; eight brothers, Charles B. and Janice Agin of Harrisburg, Jess and Linda Agin of Alton, Billy Joe Agin of Harrisburg, Denzil and Barbara Agin of Harrisburg, Dakota Agin of Harrisburg, Wade Agin of Harrisburg, Clay and Marla Agin of Harrisburg and Asa Agin of Kuttawa, Ky.; two sisters, Loretta and Marion Nalley of Augusta, Ga. and Blanche and Terry Riley of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Josh and Pam Oliver, Tyler Hedge and Tasha Hedge; and two great-grandchildren, Ayden Michael Oliver and Leon James Phellps.

She was preceded in death by her father; and sister, Jennifer Ramsey.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Blockhouse Cemetery south of Harrisburg, Il.
