A native of Oconee County, Mrs Addis was the daughter of the late Oscar H and Birdie Addis Deaton. She was retired from Andrea Fashions and was a member of Conecross Church of God.
Mrs Addis is survived by daughters,4 daughters. Sisters: Florence and Gertrude Deaton and Essie Chapman all of Walhalla, SC. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by an infant daughter Karen; brothers Harris and Thomas Deaton and sister Viola Deaton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Sat. Jan. 22, 2011 from the chapel of Davenport Funeral Home, Walhalla, SC, with burial to follow at North Walhalla Church of God, Deaton Rd, Walhlla, SC.
