She was born Oct 15, 1922, in Mishawaka, Ind., and was the daughter of Cyreal and Helen (Kline) Bokhart. Mrs Rice retired in 1984 from Associates of North America.
On Feb 14, 1942, in Mishawaka, as Louise Bokhart, she married, who survives.
She is also survived by two daughters, a son of South Bend; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and by two sisters.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, August Bokhart and Irving Charles Bokhart; and by a sister, Alice Di Rocco.
Memorial services will be held at 10 am Thursday in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, where friends and family may call one hour before. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
