On 07 Oct 1829, in Canfield (Mahoning County), Ohio, a JP married Abigail Hoyt and Philo S. Goodsell (he having just been divorced from his first wife of nearly five years, Mary Warren).

In the 1850 and 1860 censuses, Abigail is living with her son, Lewis, and her name is written as "Abigail Goodsell".

In the Trumbull County Ohio County Death Records book, the death of 82yo "Abbie Mygatt Goodsell" of Warren, Trumbull County, Ohio, is recorded.
