Information: Samantha L, Withrow was born January 24, 1861 and died February 25, 1918, age 57 yrs., l mo. and 1 day. She was married to Thomas Anderson Withrow May 4, l886. To this union were born nine children, four of whom survive her: Sheridan in the navy, William McKinley of Steubenville, Ohio, Russell Allen and Cenie of Evans. Six step-children: Mrs. Ada Myers of Steubenville, Ohio, Mrs. Rosa Pringle of Pittsburgh, Pa., Mrs. Charley Bennett of Brecksville, Ohio, Mrs. Kate Smith of Evans, W.Va. and Charley Withrow of Steubenville, Ohio. Services at Otterbein U.B. church with burial in cemetery. The deceased was converted when a girl, joined the M.E. church about 13 years ago of which church she was a member till death. She expressed her resignation to God's will and her readiness and willingness to go, fully trusting in Him who has been her stay and support. She was a kind and loving mother to both her children and step-children. Mrs. Withrow will be greatly missed by her many friends and neighbors. Services were held at the Otterbein U.B. church by her pastor Rev .C. A. Powers. Burial in Otterbein cemetery.
