James A. Suitt Dies Early on Wednesday After Week's Illness Of Malady
James Alfred Suit died at his home on the Columbus road Wednesday at 12:40 a. m. after an illness of one week. Death was due to "sleeping sickness." This is the first case of this nature in Mt. Vernon.
The deceased was 27 years of age and well known in this city. By occupation he was an auto mechanic, but drove a taxi for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Suitt, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shannon Suitt, two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Pipes of Gambier and Mrs. Berta Bigo of Charleston, W. Va., and by one brother, Millard Suitt of Zanesville.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p. m. at the home with Rev. Cleeland officiating. Burial in Mound View cemetery.
