Mrs. Patrick O'Malley died at her home in the north part of town Wednesday evening at 8:30 o'clock. Mrs. O'Malley was 79 years of age and for some time has been in failing health.

Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church Friday morning at 10 o'clock, Father Windolph officiating.

Interment was made in the Creighton cemetery.

Mary Roach was born October 1, 1837 in Ireland. In 1860 she married Pat O'Malley, to which union 11 children were born. In 1870 they came to America and took up residence at Scranton, Pa., where they lived until 1878, when they moved to a homestead near Creighton. Five years ago they moved to town and lived here ever since.

There remain to mourn her loss, a brother, Patrick Roach in Ireland, her husband and four sons, Pat of Creighton, Peter of Casper, Wyo., Lawrence of Chambers, Nebr. and James of Winner, SD.

The editor of this paper owes a debt of gratitude to the memory of this woman as the little schooling we received in the homestead days was secured while enjoying the hospitality of her home.
