Funeral services for Esther Irene Patzkowsky were held Monday, June 15, in the Mennonite Brethren Church of Fairview with the Rev. Ernie Friesen and the Rev. Garvie Schmidt officiating. Burial was in the South Mennonite Brethren Cemetery under direction of Fairview Funeral Home.

Mrs. Patzkowsky died Friday, June 12, at her home in Ardmore. She was 80.

She was born June 9, 1907, at Lahoma to Carl and Maria Schneider. She attended Phillips University for two years and taught in Major County for two years.

She married Ruben Patzkowsky July 24, 1927, in Enid. They lived in Fairview until moving to Ardmore in 1985. She was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ruben of the home; two sons, Dr. Paul Patzkowsky of Oklahoma City and Dr. Robert Patzkowsky of Ardmore, and three grandchildren.

She was prededed in death by her brothers and sisters.

Memorials may be made to the Mennonite Brethren Church with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
