Thomas was the son of John Dexter and his wife Mehitable Hallett. He married Mary Mercy Fish daughter of Robert and Mary Hall Fish.

I leave this note as I should have done before when I added the information. We spent a week in the area, visiting the Historical Society and through this we believed as they died in the county that this would be their likely burial place. The Dexters are in three groups coming down the hillside I showed in the photograph. I still have not gotten all those photos on findagrave but have shared with descendants.

In the Dexter plots many stones are missing yet there are certainly spaces for graves.

For the person who sent me the note, I tried to see a way to write back or leave you a message but you have all those connections off on your findagrave page. But I am happy to entertain thoughts of where to move them. We are direct descendants and I always hope to make any corrections and have my own information as accurate as possible.

Thomas' land records have him owning property in Mansfield (see photos attached)and transferring to his sons. At the Historical Society we did our best to locate his properties. That area of the county did have a boundary change and his properties were in what became Tolland

Possibly Body lost or destroyed but with the Dexters there in this cemetery then we have to believe he was buried there
