We are positive the father of these Rouse children is one of the six Civil War Confederate Soldier Burnett Brothers out of Union County. His name was taken to the graves of those who knew and still remains a mystery today. I am a great grandson of one of the brothers.
Full name is Frances (Franka) Rouse Acuff. Her head stone shows she was born in 1840. My records show she was born 15 Mar 1838 in Anderson County, TN and died 03 Sep 1903 probably in Knob Lick, St Francois, MO.
Frances was a daughter of Richard Alexander Rouse & his first wife, Mary A Woods. (Both parents died in Union County, TN. Burial locations are a mystery. They are probably in unmarked graves)
I have found at least on brother, Jacob ended up in Madison County, MO.
Thank You
