Flora Patterson, 78, of St. Joe died Thursday, April 25 (2002) in Marshall.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 29 at Roller Coffman Chapel in Marshall with Jim Arnold and Buck Mays III officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 28 at the chapel.
Burial will be in DePriest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Price, Ronald Dale Grinder, George Daniel, Dr. Charles Daniel, Jim Taylor and Neal Mays.
The son of the late Joe and Maude McGee Carter was born on June 28, 1923 in Figure Five. She was a homemaker and member of the Duff Baptist Church. She was also active in the St. Joe and Marshall Eastern Star, St. Joe Extension Homemakers Club and Marshall TOPPS.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Willie Patterson.
She is survived by her son, Judge Jerry Patterson and his wife, Mary of Marshall; two sisters, Betty Dilbeck of Calif. and Nell Price of Fort Smith; a brother, Bill Carter of Spiral, Okla.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
