J. T. Hood, 92 years old, of Route 1, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, died Friday January 22, 1965 in a Sallisaw hospital. He was born August 10, 1872 at Rudy, Arkansas. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Free Will Baptist church.
Survivors were his wife, Erma; two sons; four daughters; Malinda, Pearl, Ruby and Erma; two sisters; 42 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Monday at p.m. in the First Free Will Baptist church at Sallisaw with O. L. Walls officiating. Burial was in Allison Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
