Edward Hull “Boss Crump” Crump

US Congressman, Memphis Mayor. Elected to represent Tennessee's 9th and 10th Districts in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1931 to 1935. Also served as the Mayor of Memphis, Tennessee, from 1910 to 1916, 1939, Delegate to the Democratic National Convention from Tennessee in 1936, and Member of the Democratic National Committee from Tennessee from 1936 to 1945.
