The red stone found here at Indiana Chapel is believed to be a memorial marker only as it only shows years of birth and death and another stone (grey) was found at another pioneer cemetery in Marion County (believed to be the Applegate Cemetery). It appears to be an original stone and has days and months of birth and death as well as the years.
