GLENDORADO - Ronald D. Orton, 43, Glendorado Township, died Wednesday at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Maywood Church with the Rev. Gary Tonn officiating. Burial will be Oak Knoll Cemetery, Princeton. Friends may call from 3 to 9 today at Kaun Funeral Home, Princeton. A prayer service will be at 8 tonight at the funeral home in Princeton.
Mr. Orton was born March 19, 1937, in Baker, Mont., to Callie and Anna (Hedman) Orton. He married Janet Carpenter Feb. 28, 1958, in Northwood, Iowa. He had been a resident of Benton County for the past 35 years, lived in the Glendorado area for the past seven years and was employed as a welder in Princeton.
Survivors include his wife; sons and daughters, mother, Foley; brothers and sisters, Elwood, Gladys Hoff, Richard and Diane Jenson, Foley; Gerald, Foreston, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
Pallbearers will be Dale and James Orton, Donald John Hanenburg, Maurice Marriete and David Henry.
