Carol Dean is survived by her loving husband, Norman (Person) Jarrett. She will be greatly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Renee Jarrett; daughter, Cyndi East; and son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Katrina Jarrett. Carol Dean especially loved her grandchildren, Jacob Jarrett and wife, Brooke, Justin Jarrett, Emily Holler and husband, Chris, and Cathryn Jarrett; sisters, Mary Grant, Marie (Rie) Smith and Dolly Campbell; brother, Roy Sorrels and wife, Geraldine; and many nieces and nephews.
A special word of thanks to an angel sent from Heaven, Luecreasia Paige and other caregivers that meant so much to Carol Dean: Sally, Lenora, Bonnie and Keira and Hospice nurses, Jessica and Marcie from Gentle Shepherd Hospice.
The family will receive friends at Oakey's North Chapel on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, starting at noon. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Oakey's North Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Sprouse officiating. Private entombment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
