Keith C. CUMMINGS, 71, of Hiawatha, Kan., died of a heart ailment Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital in St. Joseph, Mo. Memorial services will be t 2 p.m. Monday at Framke-Casselman-Meek Funeral Home in Hiawatha. Private burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Old Hiawatha Cemetery.

Mr. CUMMINGS was born in Kansas and returned in 1976 after living more than 20 years in Des Moines, where he had been founder and president of Cadco Inc.

Among survivors are his wife, Mary; a daughter, Melissa WIST of Hiawatha; a brother, Carl of Las Vegas, Nev.; and two grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Brown County chapter.

HIAWATHA, Kan. - Keith C. CUMMINGS, 71, Hiawatha, died Wednesday, March 24, 1993, at a Topeka, Kan. hospital.

A native of Hiawatha, Mr. CUMMINGS was graduated from high school there and attended Duke University for three years.

In 1955, he moved to Des Moines, Iowa, where he was a salesman for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for over 10 years. In 1962, Mr. CUMMINGS founded Cadco Inc. of Des Moines, which distributed feed pre-mixes and animal health products. He retired and moved to Hiawatha in 1976.

Mr. UMMINGS was a member of the University Christian Church in Des Moines; Master of the Foxhounds of the North Hills Hunt and Leavenworth, Kan., Hunt; and National Guard. During World War II, he served in the Navy.

In 1946, he married the former Mary K. SCHILLING at Hiawatha. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors: a daughter, Melissa WIST of Hiawatha; a brother, Carl of Las Vegas, Nev.; and two grandchildren.

Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday, at the Framke-Casselman-Meek Funeral Home, Hiawatha. The body has been cremated. Private family inurnment at a later date. Family visitation: 1 to 1:45 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
