RICHLANDS Julia Inez Jones, 86, died Thursday, August 2, 2007, at Duplin General Hospital. She was born in the Cedar Fork Community of Duplin County and lived the majority of her life in Jones County as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, William James Jones and grandson, Mark William Jones of Cary. She is survived by two sons, Billy Jones and wife Anne, of Cary and Joey Jones and wife Lisa, of Pink Hill; one daughter Shirley Andrews and husband Robert, of Wilmington; seven grandchildren, Derek Jones, Jessica Stokes, Tammy and William Jones, Lisa O'Meara, Jamie Andrews and Donna Batts; nine great-grandchildren and one brother, Worley Raynor and wife Ruth of Jacksonville, and sister-in-law Zoa Raynor of Cedar Fork. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 5, at Pink Hill Funeral Home followed by interment at Oak Ridge Memorial Park, Pink Hill. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, prior to the funeral services. Memorials may be made to Whaley's Chapel Church, Richlands, N.C. Funeral arrangements by Pink Hill Funeral Home.
