Eula Mae Jenkins, 96, formerly of Cramerton, died September 29, 2011 at Myrtle Beach Manor. Born in Westminster, SC, She was the daughter of the late Charles B. Galloway and Ella B. Davis Galloway. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Harvey C. Jenkins; son, James C. Jenkins of Gastonia; sister, Evelyn Southerland of Greenville, SC; brothers, Leonard and Charles Galloway of Greenville, SC.

Mrs. Jenkins was retired from Burlington Industries as a weaver with 37 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Cramerton where she was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class. Mrs. Jenkins was a Life member and 50 year plus charter member of Judean Shrine #13, Gastonia, NC, 68 years plus member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mt. Holly Chapter #345 and South Fork #184. Her hobbies included gardening and baking cakes for friends, family and church and playing the organ and piano.

She is survived by her son, Gene Jenkins and wife Sheila Funderburk Jenkins of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; daughter-in-law, Frances Cline Jenkins of Gatlinburg, TN; grandchildren, Tammy Goodson and husband Daniel of Belleville, Nebraska, Patricia Haney and husband Don of Gatlinburg, TN, Connie Jarvis of Charlotte, NC, David Jenkins and wife Janna of Gastonia, NC, Kimberly Bain and husband Dan of Raleigh, NC, Bradley Jenkins and wife Michelle of Charlotte, NC, and Andrew Jenkins and wife Sally of Charlotte, NC; 8 great grandsons and 2 great granddaughters, and 1 great great granddaughter; brothers, Homer Galloway and wife Kathleen of Charlotte, NC, and Ernest Galloway and wife Jenny of Longview, TX; sisters, Annie McCroskey of Piedmont, SC, and Ivanell (Ike) Reid and husband Jim of Newberry, SC; sister-in-law, Doris Galloway of Greenville, SC.

A visitation will be held 11:00 until 12:00 noon, Monday, October 3, 2011 at the First Baptist Church Cramerton. The funeral service will be held 12:00 noon, Monday, October 3, 2011 at the First Baptist Church Cramerton with Dr. David Julen officiating. Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
