MARION - Sandy Leroy Capps, 75, of 310 James Court, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday at a local hospital. Funeral services will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday from Bullard Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul O. Batson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in Marion County, he was a son of the late Ham and Caldonia Snipes Capps.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eula Lewis Capps; three sons, Aubrey Capps of Charleston, Grady Capps and Linwood Capps, both of Mullins; three daughters, Mrs. Gary Byrd of Hartsville, Mrs. Jean Cox of Florence and Mrs. Hudson Hucks of Marion; two brothers, Tommy Capps of Wilmington and Lonzie Capps of Fayetteville, N.C.; 25 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
