Mrs. Fanny M. Shelton died Sunday; Burial 4 Monday Afternoon

Mrs. Fanny M. Shelton, wife of Dr. S.E. Shelton, died at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of her son, George, 2510 Fort Avenue. She had been sick for some time, and seriously ill for little more than a week. The funeral took place Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock from St. Paul's Episcopal church, the rector, Rev. W.P. Witsell, officiating. Interment was made at Oakwood cemetery. Mrs. Shelton who was 62 years old, was a native Texan, born at Austin. She had been a resident of Waco for thirty-seven years, and she was one of the most prominent and universally beloved women of the city.
