The second daughter of Cornelius and Ava (Gilliland) Parsons. She married Robert Pleasant Chamberlain, the son of Lawson W. Chamberlain and Susan Olive Frey, in Haskell, TX, on 11 Oct. 1908. Lillie and Pleas had seven children: Dera Mae (1910-1991); Joseph Putman (1912-1986); Robert Parker (Red) (1913-2002); Clarence Lawson (Nig)(1915-2003); Doris Louise (Dot) (1918-2008); Lois Fay (1920-1920); and Clois Ray (1920-1920). She died shortly before her thirty-second birthday, the victim of typhoid fever.
