WILBURN
Anna Bess Aldridge Wilburn, 83, a former 528 Third St. resident, died Monday at Scioto Memorial Hospital.
A native of Greenup County, Ky., she was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her husband, William Wilburn, she is survived by three sons, Carl Wilburn of Wheelersburg, William Wilburn and Donald Wilburn, both of Portsmouth; three daughters, Mrs. William (Betty) Sanders and Mrs. Charles (Wanda) Pratt, both of Portsmouth, and Delores Cassidy of Mansfield; two brothers, Benjamin Aldridge of South Shore, Ky., and William Aldridge of Muncie, Ind.; five sisters, Callie Bradley of Portsmouth, Ruby Hamilton of Mansfield, Irene Hazelbaker, Elvie Garrett, and Jeannette Walker, all of Muncie; 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Service is 1 p.m. Thursday at Brock Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Ellis officiating, and interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the service Thursday.
