Dennis A Hutchison, 67, of 37679 Tryonville Road, Centerville, died at 1:49 pm Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at his residence. Mr Hutchison was born July 20, 1940, in Titusville, to the late George (Red) and Velma MacQuarrie Hutchison. He married Joan L Schweitzer on July 28, 1962, in Winchester, VA. She preceded him in death on Aug. 22, 2002. He was a graduate of Townville High School. Mr Hutchison was a self-employed owner of Hutchison Lumber and Big Red's Trailer Court, and he raised beef. He was a social member of Bruce Shorts Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5958 and Cleo J Ross American Legion Post 368. Mr Hutchison was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed farming. He is survived by four children, Karyn Olsen and her husband, Pete, of Titusville, Shawn E Hutchison and his wife, Betty, of Centerville, DeAnn Hutchison and her companion, Harry Dilley Jr, of Centerville, and Michelle Hutchison of Titusville; eight grandchildren; Mr Hutchison's companion, Vicki Crum of Titusville; a sister, Faye Cartwright of Jacksonville, FL; two nieces and two nephews. Mr Hutchison was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hutchison. Friends may call at Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home...and attend the funeral from the funeral home, Sunday at 2 pm, with the Rev Glenn VanCise, pastor of Chapmanville Community Church, officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Titusville.
