Son of Thomas "Tom" and Joella Acker

Tom Brady Acker, 64, of Ola died Monday, Jan 24, at his home.

He was a carpenter, and Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the First Baptist Church at Plainview.

Survivors include four sons, Larry Acker of Pasagoula, Miss., Dwayne Rosegrant of Rockville, Mo., Charles Acker of Broken Arrow , Okla., and James Acker of Memphis, Tenn.; four daughters, Marie Rippenger and Carlotta Acker of Memphis, Tenn, Melba Trimble of Ola and Dana Thompson of Hot Springs; a brother, John Acker of Everett Washington; three sisters Hazie Zorn of El Paso, Texas, Betty Wells of Palestine, texas and Mary Cox of Ola; 15 grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Funeral services were Friday at First Baptist Church at Plainview by the Rev. Scott Miller. Burial was in Salem Cemetary by Humphrey Funeral Service.

Active pallbearers - Rex Harris, Ham Hamilton, Elmer Partain, TJ Sisk, Alvin Wideman and Bob Solley. Honorary - Tom Hall, JD Pelt and Monroe Hunt.
