On Sunday, January 15, 1950, at Garfield Memorial Hospital, LUCY WATERS LONERGAN of the Cordova Apartments, NW, Washington, DC, beloved wife of the late Senator Augustine Lonergan and mother of Mrs. Ruth Ellen Lockhart [Pellam] and the Misses Lucy Waters [Seligson], Ann Yates and Mary Lee Lonergan, and sister of Mrs. H. B. Haddox, Mrs. J. Lawn Thompson, sr., Mrs. J. Brent Clarke, Mrs. Ralph A. Gilchrist, Clark and Samuel D. Waters. Remains resting at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Funeral Home of Robert A. Pumphrey, Bethesda, Md., where services will be held Wednesday, January 18, at 11 a.m. Interment Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, Md.
