HOWARD H. POTE

Of 611 E. Main St., Roaring Spring, died at 5:05 p.m. yesterday in the Nason Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Pote, who was better known as Fisher, was born at Bakers Summit March 26, 1879, a son of David Z. and Leah (Holsinger) Pote.
His wife, the former Jennie Snyder, died in 1950.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Frances Rohrback of Loysburg RD, Mrs. Mae Stapleton of Goodyear, Ariz., and
Mrs. Rosemary Burket of Hopewell RD: Two granddaughters and a brother, Morton H. of Swissvale.
He was a member of Bare Memorial Church of God and a Charter member of the Friendship Fire Company, Roaring Spring.
Mr. Pete was a well-known artist in the area and was employed by the D. M. Bare Paper Company Roaring Spring, retiring in 1951. Friends will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring. after 7 p.m. tomorrow.

POTE — Services for Howard H. Pote of 611 E. Main St., Roaring Spring, will he held at 10 a.m. Monday in the John L. Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, with the Rev. Muryl Derson officiating.
Interment in Alto-Reste Burial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
