Loy N. Teter, 71, of Chula Vista, died Tuesday in a hospital. Cremation was planned by Greenwood Mortuary, with interment in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. No services are planned.
Mr. Teter was born in Iowa and lived in the county 31 years. He had worked in the sales department at Colonial Ford in National City for many years, retiring in 1981, and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda; a son, Loy of Iowa; two sisters, Neva Beard of Oregon and Lois Doran Thomas of San Diego; and three grandchildren. His son, Bradford, died in 1973.
