Mrs. Eleanor Chamley, aged 36 years, died at her home in Cuba City Tuesday afternoon at 3:20, after an illness of five months. The funeral will be held Friday from the Methodist Church in Cuba City at noon and burial made at the PM Cemetery at Leadmine.
The deceased was an old resident of this community though she had lived the past few years in company with her granddaughter, Miss Anna Dodge at Cuba City. She was a kind, loving woman with a host of friends. Everybody loved her. She was sweet, considerate and sympathetic, possessing all those admirable characteristics one would expect to find in a Christian woman. She goes to her reward after a long life of usefulness with the assurance that she will be gladly received in that land from whence no traveler ever returns.
