Brenda Eve Foster, 52, Nortonville, died Aug. 3, 2011.

She was born March 13, 1959, in Groton, Conn., the daughter of Clifton and Betty Jean Fitzgerald Johnson. She was a 1977 graduate of Jefferson County North High school.

She has been a CNA/CMA at the Geriatric Center in Winchester for the last 30 years. She was a member of the Nortonville-Pleasant Grove Christian Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Hilery Lopez-Foster and Bonnie Sue Foster, both Nortonville, and Michelle Foster, Topeka; her parents, Clifton and Betty Johnson, Nortonville; two brothers, Clifton "Bobby" Johnson and Tim "Mickey" Johnson, both of Nortonville; and five sisters, Cheryl Sanders, Atchison, Cindy Barnes, Nortonville, Patty Mosby, Lawson, Mo., Elizabeth Rostetter, Circleville, and Kate Fitzgerald-Johnson, White Bear Lake, Minn.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Brooke Ashley Lopez-Foster.

Memorial service was Sunday at the Nortonville Pleasant-Grove Christian Church. Inurnment at a later date.

Memorials to the Grandchildren's Education Fund or to the Jefferson County Friends of Hospice and sent in care of the Barnett Family Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.
