MALTA - George A. Ames, 94, a World War II Army veteran and retired farmer/rancher who enjoyed hunting, camping and spending time with his family, died of natural causes Tuesday, Sept. 27, at a Billings nursing home.
Survivors include 2 sons, 5 daughters, 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Corine (Plouffe) Ames, in 1979.
