Mrs. Laura Mae Griest Burke, 61, of Conestoga R1, died Saturday in the General Hospital. She had been under the care of a physician. Born in Little Britain Twp., she was a daughter of the late John J. and Helen Jamison M. Griest and the wife of Clyde A. Burke. A resident of Conestoga for the past 16 years, she was a member of the Conestoga Fire Companies Ladies Auxiliary. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Patsy, wife of Joseph Herr, Lancaster; a son, Paul, of Lancaster R6; five brothers, Samuel Griest, of York; Lester Griest, of Quarryville; Walter Griest, of Perry Hall, Md., and Veryl and Howard Griest, both of Quarryville, and seven grandchildren.
