In 1837, she accepted another cousin, Duncan Nash, as her husband and became stepmother to Lowell John (1822), Ebenezer L. (1827), Adeline H. (1829), and Lucinda B. Nash (1831). She is not known to have had any children herself in either marriage.
Whether decades of weather have disintegrated or buried Mary's gravestone or whether one was never erected, no memorial can be found for her.
