Wesley M. Reeder, 20, died Monday, February 23, 2009, from an accidental gunshot wound to his neck at his home in Kendallville.
He was a graduate of East Noble High School and was currently a student at Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne.
He enjoyed the outdoors, cars and anything that would go fast.
He worked at Rural King in Kendallville.
He was born June 12, 1988, in Kendallville to Steve and Barb (Stanford) Reeder and they survive in Kendallville.
He is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Danielle and John Gibson of Kendallville; a nephew, Hunter Gibson; grandparents, John and Bonnie Stanford of Fort Wayne and Rollie Reeder of Kendallville; aunts and uncles, Pam and Homer Morgan of Kendallville, John and Marie Stanford of Fort Wayne and Patricia and Mike Hartic of Fort Wayne; and cousins, Benjamin Morgan, Tony and Jamie Klein, Sarah and Kevin Walters, John Stanford and Paul Stanford.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Reeder, and a nephew, Charles Gibson.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Feller Funeral Home, 876 S. Wayne St., Waterloo. Pastor Earl Bolan will officiate. Burial will be in Sedan Cemetery, Corunna.
Friends may call Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials can be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
