Jack S. Greenwood,Sr. 86 of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Thurs. Sept. 15, 2011. Services Sun. in Chapel of Tim Stewart F. H. Rev. J. B. Reese and Rev. Clay Manley officiating with burial Gwinnett Memorial Park. Mr. Greenwood was a Mason, worked in the prosthetics business over 40 years, was a Charter Member and Deacon of Briarlake Bpt. Church, served in WW II and was a member of DAV. He met his bride in Walgreens in Atlanta, GA on Sat. afternoon and married her the following day. They celebrated 66 years together in June 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Leonard Daniel and Bessemer Conaway Greenwood and sisters, Maxine Abbott & Juana Lou Boggs. Survivors include wife, Margaret Allene Jones Greenwood; children, Judy Greenwood Stepp, Shirley Greenwood & Robert Slattery, Jack S. Greenwood,Jr.; brother, Gene Greenwood;7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
