Larry was born in Chowchilla, Ca. and died in Clovis, Ca.

Larry worked most of his life as a cotton ginner at West Side Farmers Cotton Gin in Five Points, Ca. until he became disabled.

His favorite pastime was feeding homeless people and giving them a night to sleep under a roof. He loved making small talk with complete strangers. He also loved his music, animals and to work on cars.

A special thanks to Lori Wilson(Vann) and husband Joe and to Darrel Kratly for their love and support and to all the wonderful staff at Aseracare Hospice and to Willow Creek Healthcare.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Vann; his mother, Betty (Smith) Vann; sister, Kathy ( Vann) Brewer.

"If we could have a lifetime wish, a dream that would come true, we'd pray to God with all of our hearts for yesterday and you. A thousand words can't bring you back we know because we tried. Neither will a thousand tears, we know because we cried. You left behind our broken hearts and happy memories too. But we never wanted memories, we only wanted you."

You will be dearly missed and always be remembered forever in our hearts! He left behind his daughter, Chirsten Vann; his son, Brian Vann and his wife Shasta; and five grandchildren. Larry is also survived by his sister, Vickie (Vann) Bedrosian; brother-in-law, Darrel Kratly; his favorite and only uncle, Willie Vann and his wife Lois; nieces, Leslie Bedrosian McCormick and her husband Jim, and their kids Kimi and Hailey, Jamie Bedrosian and her son Jordan Kuiper; brother, Danny Maddelena and his wife Sharon and their family; sister, Pat Coleman and her husband Gene and their family; and many loving cousins, aunts, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. Please send all remembrances to Asercare Hospice, 650 W, Alluvial, Fresno Ca. 93711; or Central Valley Coalition for Animals, 619 Woodworth Ave., Clovis Ca. 93612. NOVA
