Martha Enocente White, 73, of Cottonwood, died Saturday Sept. 24, 2011, peacefully at her home. She was born Dec. 28, 1937, in Clemenceau (Cottonwood), the daughter of Jose and Maria Macias.

She was a mother and a homemaker. She is remembered as a caring and helpful mother and was a caregiver to her mother and to her husband when he became disabled.

Her hobbies were crocheting, embroidery, making quilts and she played baseball when she was younger. She enjoyed family outings, camping and picnics. She was always interested in helping others. She was member of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin.

Mrs. White is survived by her son Daniel White of Cottonwood; brothers Onofre Macias of Missouri, Jesus Lucero of Cottonwood, Joe Macias of Wickenburg; sisters Yolanda Velasquez of Cottonwood, Gloria Islas of Cottonwood, Betsy Medina and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 3 in the Azteca Lodge Cemetery at Cottonwood Cemetery at 10 a.m.
