ASHCRAFT, A. MILLICENT, A faithful servant of Jesus Christ, entered into her eternal home and reward after her courageous battle against pancreatic cancer on March 6, 2006 in her home with family members by her side. Memorial service: 11:00 am, Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Lake Arlington Baptist Church, 2912 Little Road, Arlington, Texas 76016. There will be a private, family graveside service. Millie was born on October 22, 1948 to Joseph R. and Katherine Green in Dallas, Texas. She attended Houston University, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Arkansas, and El Centro College in Dallas, Texas. She retired from American Airlines with 20 years of service after September 11, 2001. She continued her working career at the University of Texas at Arlington as an administrative assistant to the academic affairs department. Her tremendous strength, positive attitude, and graciousness endured her to many friends, family, and co-workers. Her special talents of cooking and interior decorating filled her home with many hours of enjoyment to all. Survivors: Husband, Mark Ashcraft; daughter, Jennifer; son, Jon; brother, Vance R. Green; sister, Judith P. Ramsey; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
