Born on December 27, 1915, in Newburg, PA, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Carrie Kohr Snoke.
On September 25, 1935, Caroline married Mr. Leroy A. Myers in the Newburg E.U.B. Church. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2004.
Caroline worked as a cook at the Newburg Elementary School. She was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church, enjoyed volunteering at the New Hope United Methodist Church Clothing Bank, and also quilted for many years with the Newburg Ladies Aid Society.
She is survived by her two sons, Galen L. (Sandra) Myers of Orrstown and Merle W. (Mary) Myers of Shippensburg; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2011, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. John A. Ile, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the services on Friday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hopewell United Methodist Church at 10 Enola Road Newburg, PA 17240.
