Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mineola, under direction of Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola.
Mrs. Abbott died Jan. 21, 2010, in Tyler. She was born Oct. 15, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived in Mineola since 2001. She was a nurse and had worked in OB/GYN and pediatricians' offices in Cleveland, Ohio, Alexandria, Va., and Austin. Most recently she had worked at Grace Community Healthcare Clinic in Mineola.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Grace Pacino; by her husband, John Abbott Jr.; by a brother, Carl Pacino; by a sister, Joan Gray; and by a son-in-law, Lonnie Bane.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, John and Janell Abbott, Mineola; daughters and sons-in-law, Colleen Bane-Valencia and husband Adam, Mesquite, Kim and Jerry White, Concord, N.C.' grandsons, J.R. Bane, Justin Bane and Jerry White; and granddaughters, Natalie White, Elizabeth Valencia and Cristina Valencia.
Pallbearers are J.R. Bane, Justin Bane, Jerry White Jr., Chase McDougald, Brian Scott and Andrew Epps.
Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola.
