Daniel Alfred Black passed away at Allen Memorial Hospital in Moab, on March 7. He was born to Alfred Daniel Black Sr. and Lois Black on April 25, 1935 in Cortez, Colo. Danny married Mamie Esta Williams in 1957 in Aztec, N.M. They moved to Moab in 1965 where Danny worked as a truck driver, and in later years he was a bartender at the Outlaw Saloon for 18 years. Danny was a quiet man who was very well liked. Danny loved to play pool and visit with his friends. Danny is survived by a foster daughter, Beverly Cannon and her children Nolan Newman and Debbie Milner of Moab, three step-grandchildren, Tammi (Andy) LeSueur of Layton, Utah. RaeLynn Knight of Moab, and Ty Wade Hargus of Corpus Christie, Tex. Two great-grandchildren, Connor LeSueur of Layton, and Abigal Manson of Moab. He is also survived by a brother, Ernie Black, and sister Allenna Cromwell both of Arleta, Calif. Danny was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Cragle Black, also a step-son, William Caudell, and his beloved wife Mamie Black. Danny was laid to rest in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Moab on March 10. Danny will be missed by his many friends
