Daughter of Lettisa A. Kellam Butts Amidon and Simeon G. Butts. Wife of Alfred Leonard. Mother of Lewis Yoder Leonard and Harold Laverne Leonard. Died of pneumonia. Her obituary (Spokesman Review, April 16, 1897, Page 5) states her husband had brought her from Springfield, IL two years before her death, in the hopes the mild climate would improve her health. Her mother was later buried with her.

Some family trees state her nickname as "Jennie".
