Boice C. Linville, 85, a former resident of Octavia, Oklahoma, and recently of Winnie, Texas passed into the Lord's busom, Wednesday, September 27, 2011.

He was born October 5, 1925, in Octavia, Oklahoma to Nevada "Vade" and Laura "Doll" Jones Linville.

Mr. Linville was a proud United States Army Veteran, having served during World War II in the Philippine Islands and in the occupation of Japan.

He leaves behind his wife of sixty-six years, Melva Smith Linville of Winnie, Texas; daughter, Janie Linville Wood, of Winnie, Texas; grandchildren, Terance Linville Wood and Stephanie Wood Foreman; great grandchildren, Elisha, Trent, Tori, Jeremiah and Rachal; and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Octavia Baptist Church, Octavia, Oklahoma, with interment to follow at Octavia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard's, 134, W. Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Broussard's.
